CARALYN AND MARK BUEHNER Long, long ago, on the night before Halloween, Caralyn (who loves to read) dressed for a Halloween party as Scheherazade, a famous storyteller who saved her life by telling 1001 stories. That night she met a Dracula-costumed, but very nice art student named Mark Buehner (who loved to paint), and the rest is history. Together they have collaborated on many picture books and some spookily wonderful children. They currently live in a creaky old house in Draper, Utah.
