Cathy Camper is an artist, librarian and author of books for children and teens, living in Portland, Oregon. She wrote Bugs Before Time, illustrated by Steve Kirk, and the graphic novels Lowriders in Space and the Lowriders to the Center of the Earth, illustrated by “Raul the Third” (Raul Gonzalez).

Raul the Third teaches classes on drawing and comics for kids at the Museum of Fine Arts and the Institute of Contemporary Art. He is the illustrator for the graphic novels Lowriders in Space and Lowriders to the Center of the Earth. He lives in Boston, Massachusetts.
